This weekly group for men is to support each other and share experiences, solutions, and breakthroughs, to heal and positively define their masculinity.
Space is limited to 12 people.
Participation is donation-based.
Location: Chiang Mai Holistic.
These men’s groups are built around men sharing their strengths and struggles together to have a sense of community and togetherness that will enrich their life with self-love, self-care, and self-esteem.
“Being a man” is a statement every man heard but if the meaning they have put into this statement can vary a lot, there is a constant social and internalized pressure regarding the conditions it underlines. And these conditions of masculinity can be detrimental to the individual when carrying a lot of toxicity for the bearer of such conditions and his environment/entourage. Or they can be beneficial when allowing the man to grow healthily and shine upon his surroundings.
So connecting the realities coming from different men about the male condition in a space where they can express themselves and share freely their experiences, without any judgment, is key to their well-being, development, and growth. The group is meant to transform shadow into light by sharing struggles, solutions, and perspectives.
All topics are welcome, covering every layer of the being and existence: material, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social.
The group is aimed to create a bond between the individuals that lasts between each session, through a group chat, and form a sense of brotherhood.
The sessions are conducted under the following guidelines:
– introduction of each member and expectations while joining the group
– group meditation for a few minutes, tuning into a benevolent and compassionate mindset for yourself and your peers
– invitation to stay in a prayer-like attitude during the session. This is spiritual but not religious. Call to your higher Self or “God” as you understand it, without preaching or debating about it
– invitation to share about topics with a non-judgmental approach to what is said, taking turns.
***Bring your own bottle of water (refillable freely on site) in order to keep your sitting position during the circle***
