We are very excited about this! A lovely evening under the stars and twinkling lights, in the cool air, with the warm rhythms of Nuraini. You may remember her from our Open Mics (pre Covid days), she always stunned the audience with her original lyrics and music. This is her only concert in Chiang Mai for this visit so you don’t want to miss it!
Doors 6pm, Music 7-9pm
100b entry fee, paid at door.
Nuraini is an emerging singer/songwriter from the Sunshine Coast in Australia. She is returning to Chiang Mai where she used to live and will share a night of her original music, where she weaves heartfelt lyrics with soulful guitar and mellow rhythms. Her songs are largely inspired by the natural world and her life experiences, and this is expressed with sincerity in her music.
Held at venue Free Bird Cafe, plant based eatery and social enterprise, in Nimman area, Sirimangkalajarn Soi 9. There will be a full menu for dinner, cocktails, snacks, treats to enjoy while you sit back and enjoy the music.
All funds raised will go to support Thai Freedom House, language and arts center for refugees from Myanmar/Burma. The focus of their work right now is on sending emergency food and medicine to IDPs and refugees along the border and inside Myanmar. The people of Myanmar have suffered greatly for decades but it is at an all time low point now, since the attempted military coup, Feb. 1, 2021. Our neighbors need our help.
