Space in the Mind
‘พื้นที่ในจิตใจ’ มีที่มาจากการมองหาความหมายของบ้านในแง่ของนามธรรม ในเรื่องของสภาวะอารมณ์ความรู้สึกภายในจิตใจ โดยปราศจากการมองถึงเรื่องความเป็นรูปธรรม โครงสร้างที่ใช้เพื่อเป็นที่อยู่อาศัย เพราะฉะนั้น บ้าน จึงไม่ได้เป็นแค่ที่อยู่อาศัย หากแต่เป็นการสั่งสมประสบการณ์ การสร้างความเป็นตัวตน จิตวิญญาณ ให้ความรู้สึกอบอุ่นใจ สบายใจ มีผลต่อจิตใจ เป็นพลังขับเคลื่อนในการดำเนินชีวิต ไม่ใช่เพียงเฉพาะยามที่รู้สึกทุกข์แต่รวมถึงเมื่อเวลาที่มีความสุข เปรียบเสมือนการได้กลับเข้าไปยังพื้นที่ในจิตใจ เมื่อคิดคำนึงถึง
นิทรรศการนี้จึงเป็นเหมือนการพยายามถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกเชิงบวก สิ่งที่มีความหมายต่อจิตใจที่ได้รับมาจากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ครอบครัว ความสัมพันธ์ สภาพแวดล้อม ในภาพรวมของห้วงเวลาอดีต ที่หล่อหลอมและเป็นแรงขับดึงกลับมาในช่วงเวลาของสถานการณ์ปัจจุบันที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ผ่านการแสดงออกในรูปแบบของผลงานจิตรกรรมนามธรรม
นิทรรศการ พื้นที่ในจิตใจ โดย ณชพล คูธนะวนิชพงษ์ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของนิทรรศการศิลปนิพนธ์ปริญญาโท สาขาทัศนศิลป์ คณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ภายใต้ชื่อเมราคี (Meraki)

ณชพล คูธนะวนิชพงษ์ (2539) ภูมิลำเนาเดิมจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ปัจจุบันพำนักอยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ประเทศไทย ณชพล จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจากสาขาจิตรกรรม คณะสถาปัตยกรรม ศิลปะและการออกแบบ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง ปัจจุบันกําลังศึกษาในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาสาขาวิชาทัศนศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เขามีความสนใจเรื่องอารมณ์และความรู้สึกที่ไม่มั่นคงของสภาวะในจิตใจ ผ่านสภาพแวดล้อม สถานการณ์รอบตัวที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ก่อเป็นความรู้สึกที่ย้อนถึงความทรงจำ ความสัมพันธ์ การโหยหาอดีต ที่ดึงกลับเข้ามาเป็นแรงขับในการแสดงออกผ่านรูปแบบผลงานทั้งจิตรกรรม สื่อผสม ทั้งนี้ในสถานการณ์ของปัจจุบันที่ยังมีความไม่ปกติเดิม ทำให้เขาได้กลับไปค้นหาความหมายของสิ่งที่ผลมีต่อจิตใจ ในก้อนมวลความรู้สึกภายใน แสดงออกผ่านผลงานศิลปะนามธรรมต่อผู้ชม

‘Space in the Mind’
‘Space in the Mind’ is inspired by searching for meanings of home-emotional sphere, deconstructive habitat in abstract manner of art. -Home- in artist’s perspective is the collection of self-experience, inner power driving in living. Retrospect of returning Mind’s Space, the created emotional sphere either in happiness or sorrow.
This Art Exhibition is artist’s personally enthusiasm expression which connect self being statement-family-environmental memory spheres. The artist is intending to present the abstract emotion moments towards the changing of surrounding environment.
Space in the Mind Art exhibition by Nachapon Khutanawanitpong is the part of the master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, Chiang Mai University under the name Meraki Art Thesis Exhibition

Nachapon Khutanawanitpong (1996, Phra Nakorn Sri Ayutthaya) lives and works in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Nachapon graduated with a bachelor degree in painting, school of Architecture, Art, and Design King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and currently studying for a master degree in Visual Arts, Chiang Mai University. He is interested in emotional and unstable feelings of the state of mind. through the environment Circumstances that have changed It is a feeling that brings back memories, relationships, and nostalgia for the past that are drawn back into the driving force of expression through the form of works of painting, mixed media, in the current situation that is still unusual. causing him to return to find the meaning of the effect on the mind. in the mass of inner feelings Expressed through abstract works of art to the audience.
