สัมผัสเรื่องราวของคนนอกรีต สำรวจและตีความดนตรีพื้นเมืองโบราณและเสียงสำหรับละครเต้นรำที่นำเสนอเพื่อรำลึกถึงมรดกอันมั่งคั่งของชนพื้นเมือง เข้าร่วมกับเราในการแสดงที่ไม่เหมือนใครนี้ ซึ่งเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองศิลปะ ดนตรี และประเพณีอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของพวกเขาผ่านพลังของดนตรี
20 พค. นี้ ที่หรรษา community เวลา 18.30-19.30 น. พบกับ smallคอนเสิร์ตร่วมสมัย วิวาทะสังสรรค์ระหว่าง แมนจูกับมาลายู เพลง Pagan Story หมายถึงดนตรีดึกดำบรรพ์ของชนเผ่าต่างๆ ที่บรรเลงเพื่อปลุกดวงวิญญาณแกร่งกล้าของชาวบ้าน
PAGAN STORIES

Brief – project towards Dance theatre inspired by dance and music of the Animist and Shamanism. An interpretation of the living ancient world
The work is a continuos long standing effort of zai kuning who have been talking (1995) about the stories of the indegenous people namely the Orang Laut though now after 20 years of emmercing to what happen to the indegenous people Riau Archipelago, West Malaysia and Thailand, to him now it is all about sensing and feel for the indegenous people of the world who suffered the same fate which mainly on the issue of ownership of the land and the dieing art, music and dance which have been in existence for million years through the world of Animism/Paganism and Shamanism.
Now Zai is to developed a theatrical work with original music which influence mainly by the life, songs and dance of the indegenous people of the world. The exprression/creation are not refering specifically to any tribes of the world but through workshop with the performer to ask them to think and feel about the dance movement of many indegenous people. workshop lead by zai and Xiao Han by introducing ancient beat/grove/ rhythm and melody of the indegenous people they have been playing them self for more then 20 years.
The aim of the workshop is to lead the performer searching for their own primal sense into dance performance from body movement to vocalization.
Performer will also be introduce the idea of using mask to form their personal cherecterization.
The project will began with the search for original musical composition between Zai and Xiao Han who is an experience musician, composer and music teacher base in Chiang Mai Thailand. Xiaohan himself have studied the Manchu traditional music and shamanism while Zai who is known for his personalized interpretation of the Ghazal and drumming style which mix between the Malays, Japanese and Korean and are experience theatre director, trainer and performer where he lead many performers towards process training base and not production oriented. But non of Zai work musically played any form which considered ‘traditional’ as it is all about personalised style.
