“Mind Mirror” is a cerebral reflection that allows us to observe outside stimulus as it affects our thoughts and minds through perception. Luka’s newest exhibition explores such options.
Boonkerd Kaewdee ( Luka-ironwork ), is a master craftsman and a graduate of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. Known for his prolific years of excellence with metal / ironwork, Luka is rightfully proud to present his latest collection, featuring masks. When considering “masks” in such a context, they can be seen as a reflection of our scars and wounds from past or current events or our present state of mind, but they can also become pathways to self-awareness. Seeing through his mind-created illusion to unveil the truth of who we really are isn’t about changing and becoming something else. It’s about remembering who we have always been.

‘มายด์ มิเร่อร์’ ส่องสะท้อน
ให้ได้ฝึกสังเกตความคิด / จิต ของคน
การมอง การฟัง การได้กลิ่น การลิ้มรส
สัมผัส ลิ้น สมอง กาย และใจ
ล้วนสร้างต้นเหตุ
โกรธ / เกลียด / ดีใจ / ใคร่ / ขำ / รัก / ฯลฯ
ทุกอย่าง เกิดขึ้นแล้วเกิดขึ้นเล่าในแต่ละวัน
เราไม่สามารถหลีกหนีอารมณ์เรานี้ได้
อดีต และ อนาคต
สอนเราให้หันกลับมามองความคิด
ทำให้เรียนรู้ว่า
‘ปัจจุบัน’ ที่ดำเนินอยู่นี้เป็นของขวัญที่ดีที่สุด
ภาวะตระหนักรู้ / เข้าใจ / ยอมรับ
นั้นสร้างแนวคิดเชิงบวก
ที่นำมนุษย์เข้าสู่ด้านใน
ให้ได้ประจักษ์ว่า
ข้างในเป็น ‘สิ่ง’ ที่ควบคุมได้
