” Beachside atmosphere usually brings us freedom. It gets us contemplating, dreaming, imagining, even seeking truths… Every time I am by the sea, often time my imaginations take me to clash with foreign objects scattered throughout the beach. I would take these random objects home to construct characters, to uncover the meaning hidden on the other side by making short memory notes upon those objects. All in an effort to reveal the secrets of the imaginative realm buried deep within the object’s reality.” — Narongyot Thongyu ( Artist )

Kee-Sa-Lak Jewelry Art & Stone เลือกหินก้อนดิบธรรมชาติแบบยังไม่ได้เจียระไน เพราะชอบในความดิบ ความ free from ที่ทำให้เราห่อหุ้มได้อย่างอิสระ ให้รูปทรงของธรรมชาติเป็นตัวพาลวดลายของเราไป
ตัวลวดนั้น Kee-Sa-Lak ได้เลือกใช้เงินแท้มาขดดัดห่อหุ้มอัญมณีและเลือกใช้เครื่องมือเก่าจากที่บ้านโดยวิธีแบบโบราณ คือเทคนิคการขดลวดจากการทำทองโบราณสุโขทัยมาประยุกต์ใช้กับงาน

The wire, Kee-SA-LAK has chosen to use genuine silver, bending, wrapping the gems, and choosing to use old tools from home in an ancient way. It is a wire bending technique from Sukothai’s antique gold making applied to the job.
Blue Sapphire Gems have the value that most Thai people know and are popular. As can be seen from being one of the novels about ancient Thai jewelry, valuable, and beautiful. The belief in the matter of becoming a gemstone, prestige, protection, and prosperity. It is a symbol of sincere stability.

“Mind Mirror” is a cerebral reflection that allows us to observe outside stimulus as it affects our thoughts and minds through perception. Luka’s newest exhibition explores such options.
Boonkerd Kaewdee ( Luka-ironwork ), is a master craftsman and a graduate of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. Known for his prolific years of excellence with metal / ironwork, Luka is rightfully proud to present his latest collection, featuring masks. When considering “masks” in such a context, they can be seen as a reflection of our scars and wounds from past or current events or our present state of mind, but they can also become pathways to self-awareness. Seeing through his mind-created illusion to unveil the truth of who we really are isn’t about changing and becoming something else. It’s about remembering who we have always been.

24 Nara’s memo can occur and change all the time. When she meets something and thinks of some memory, she will take a memory by creating artwork such as printmaking, painting, sculpting, and embroidery. When people meet her artwork. It may bring many people back to memories.
She invites people to have fun taking a memo themselves in their way. To get close and make the art wherever you are.

“Touch Me”, a group show, featuring a wide array of, Thai and non-Thai artists, will open on 11 June 2022 at Chiang Mai’s Head High Second Floor (a non-profit Art Space).
“Touch Me”, has a multi-layered meaning in English – it can be translated both literally and figuratively. The literal meaning is “to make physical contact”, while when taken figuratively, it can mean so much more. Figuratively, “Touch Me” is the act of invoking sympathy or feeling, bringing out real emotions. These feelings can be enriching, sad, or even happy. Within these range of meanings, “Touch Me” perfectly describes this upcoming art exhibition, one that explores these feelings through nudity and eroticism in art.
Nudity reveals, but also conceals and blurs, as it attracts and repels. The nude is the oldest genre of art and also the most enigmatic. To this day, the nude builds shaky bridges across the deep divide between high art and pornography. Such works know how to be both at the same time: an erotic source of inspiration and work of art. It is precisely this tightrope walk that the exhibition “Touch Me” aims to demonstrate. Various aspects of the genre will be presented, including nudity in the context of ideals, self-determination, or homosexuality. More than 14 artistic positions will be shown in the exhibition. In addition to painting, drawing and photography, video and installation will also be presented. Some works come from the Head High Second Floor collection as well.

ภาพเปลือยคือการเปิดเผย แต่กลับถูกปกปิดและทำให้เบลอเมื่อมันสื่อถึงการยั่วเย้าและสิ่งน่ารังเกียจ
ภาพเปลือยเป็นศิลปะประเภทที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดและลึกลับที่สุดจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ภาพนู้ดสร้างสะพานที่สั่นคลอนข้ามช่องแบ่งระหว่างศิลปะชั้นสูงและภาพลามกอนาจาร
งานศิลปะดังกล่าวรู้วิธีที่จะสื่อทั้งสองอย่างในเวลาเดียวกัน
ซึ่งแหล่งที่มาของแรงบันดาลใจและงานศิลปะที่เร้าอารมณ์ ในนิทรรศการ “Touch Me” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแสดง
ออกถึงสิ่งเหล่านี้อย่างตรงไปตรงมา
