MCH & Friends in Chiang Mai

at Dhepsiri Creative Space

The MCH team are visiting Chiang Mai, along with our partner Heritage Space, from Hanoi. If you are an arts and culture practitioner, and interested in exchange and collaboration within Asia, please come along and say hi.
At the beginning of the event, MCH will give a short presentation about who we are, what we do and the latest opportunities for you to get involved in our programs and the MCH network.
Our partner Heritage Space will also share briefly about their work, including their annual MAP program – which is open for participation from artists all over the world.
After the presentations there will be time for Q&A, chit chat and networking.
The event is friendly and informal, and light snacks will be provided.
We welcome old friends and new friends, so if we don’t know each other yet, please come along – we would love to meet you and get to know more about what you do and how you might like to get involved with the MCH network!

กลุ่มละคร Unidentified Theatre กลับมาเสนอ…
“Unidentified Craft II “

ละครพูดที่ผสมผสานการเคลื่อนไหวร่างกาย โดย ทัศกร สีปวน หนึ่งในศิลปินจาก Take-off Festival รุ่นที่ 2 โครงการที่คัดเลือกผลงานละครของธีสิสนักศึกษามาจัดแสดงในโรงละครสาธารณะ เจ้าของผลงาน “Dogtooth” ที่ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล บทละครดัดแปลงยอดเยี่ยม ประจำปี 2558 จากชมรมวิจารณ์ศิลปะการแสดง (IATC)

Unidentified เป็นผลงานที่เคยจัดแสดงมาแล้วเมื่อปี 2560 ที่สถาบันปรีดี พนมยงค์ กรุงเทพมหานคร ในครั้งนี้ ทัศกรได้นำกลับมาพัฒนาต่อในรูปแบบของศิลปะการแสดงแบบทดลอง โดยแบ่งให้มีนักแสดง 2 คู่

Unidentified เล่าเรื่องราวคนสองคนที่เตรียมตัวไปงานศพเพื่อนกะทันหัน แต่เพราะเงื่อนไขของชีวิตหลายๆอย่าง …พวกเขาจึงเริ่มพูดคุยกับความเป็น-ความตายกันซะเอง แล้วมันจะเป็นอย่างไรต่อไป…

Unidentified Theatre proudly re-represent…
“Unidentified Craft II”

A text-based performance and body movements by Tassakorn Seepuan, one of the young artists who have participated in Take-off Festival 2 which selected a last year student thesis to restage in a public space. In that time, Tassakorn created “Dogtooth” and was nominated for Best Adapted Script of a Play/Performance award from IATC – International Association of Theatre Critics Thailand in 2015.

Unidentified was a crafted project held in 2017 at Pridi Banomyong Institute, Bangkok. In this time, Tassakorn re-writes, develops into an experimental performance and chooses 2 pairs of people to perform.

Unidentified narrates a story line of the couple who is about to go to his friend’s funeral. Unfortunately, due to lots of life conditions, they begin to discuss about life and death … so what will they do next?
