🚪 Doors open at 7 PM
✨Looking for ways to get involved with our 17th year anniversary party and ‘THRIFTED’ Fashion Show?
✨ALL GENDERS AND ALL BODIES are invited to come for our fun styling and strutting sessions 18 Feb. 25 Feb. 2-5pm. We will look through the thrift store to find fun things for ourselves and each other, help style (we also have jewelry and shoes) and practice our walk 🙂
✨You can also come ANYTIME and pick out an outfit!
✨If you want to participate on the runway, you have 3 choices:
1. Buy the outfit for 50% off of clothing, that means 30-60b a piece and take it home until the event on the 28th.
2. Choose a fit, don’t buy it and leave it at the cafe until the event on the 28th.
3. Choose an outfit that you have previously purchased in our thrift store to wear at the event, make sure to message us to put you on the lineup to walk.
✨BONUS: Some of you have incredible talents for upcycling clothing, painting on fabric, stitching, repairing, remaking, you are welcome to reimagine pieces from the shop too!
*You can plan outfit changes too, wear as many as you want!
✨Audience:
Wear your finds from our thrift store, it doesn’t have to be something new, most people in Chiang Mai have something from our thrift store, let’s celebrate sustainable fashion and fun! AND/OR wear a fancy schmancy outfit that you always think, ‘I have no where to wear this!’
✨Additions!
We now have 2 vendors selling upcycled jewelry, a DIY upcycle jewelry making mini workshop and a FIRE SHOW from our friends Mint and Bird of Saipa Fire Arts!
✨Come celebrate 17 years of community, creativity, and conscious fashion with us. Whether you’re modeling or just coming to support and enjoy the energy, it’s going to be a fun, inclusive, feel-good night.

🩸 BONUS: 100% of profits from the evening will support menstruation products for underprivileged people along Thai-Myanmar border. You can also bring period supplies to donate to the event.
📖 More about Free Bird Cafe CNX Donation Center and Thrift Store. Since 2009, a social enterprise raising money with 100% of it’s profits for Thai Freedom House Foundation, supporting refugees and IDPs (internally displaced peoples) along the Thai-Myanmar border and inside the war zones of Burma. We provide education, emergency aid in the form of food, medicine, cookware, also 99% of what gets donated in our center goes out to people in need, the other 1% is sold in our shop so we can use that money to buy what they ask for and need. So, all of our profits from the restaurant, gift shop, thrift store all go to supporting those most in need in our region, always. But when we have a special event like this, we like to focus on a particular cause, this time period/menstruation care. Thank you for your support and helping spread the word!
