What is Aroma Journey Meditation?
“Aroma Journey Meditation is a special combination of traditional sitting meditation and “Kodo” incense ceremony (“the way of aroma”) Experience some of the world’s most highly valued sacred aromatics such as frankincense, sandalwood, agarwood, and more. Discover how these unique medicinals influence mind, body, and spirit and how and why they are used in healing and spiritual traditions around the world. A short talk and general instruction is followed by 30 minutes of meditation featuring five different aromatic experiences and some use of meditation singing bowls (shōkei). Followed up with a question and answer time and the opportunity to see, touch, and experience the raw aromatic materials as well as some essential oils and other aromatics created by Pierre.”
